Clos le Vigneau

The balance of Chateau Gaudrelle

From one of the emblematic plots of Vouvray located on the edge of the cliff close to the Loire river, the limestones of Clos le Vigneau provide full-bodied, greasy, fruity and fresh wines which are typical of the Chenin balance. This wine is the perfect example of the “sec tendre”(medium dry), fermented and matured in old oak barrels. It highlights the marriage between the acidity, the natural sugar of the grape and the minerality from the soil.
